A Webinar on Product Life Management

An online webinar was organized on “Digital Transformation through Product Life Management” to give students an insight of the topic and encourage them to explore the ample opportunities in the field of industrial engineering. Mr. Rabindra Sah, (Chief Engineer- Strategic Projects at TATA Technologies) gave us a basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and discussed how to bridge the gap between academic and industrial practice. He also explained the various elements of PLM and Digital Twin of the ecosystem and how it leads to digital transformation that will increase the productivity and save a lot of time and cost. The whole event was conducted under the direction of (Prof.) Dr. S.K. Singh, Head of Mechanical Engineering Depeartment.
