A Workshop on Advancements in Mechanical Engineering

The "Mechanical Engineering Department" in collaboration with the mechanical engineering department of IIT-ISM, Dhanbad organised a mechanical workshop on the topic -"Advancements in mechanical engineering". It was a 5 day long workshop. The workshop comprised of :
"Mathematical Approach in Non Destructive Testing" by Prof. (Dr.) S. C. Roy sir, "Advances in three fluid heat exchangers" by Prof. ( Dr.) S.K. Singh sir, "Basics of Fluid Film lubrication" by prof. Md Sikandar Azam sir, "Data exchange procedure from CAD to CAM" by Dr Vijay Pandey, "Advancements in the field of Casting Process" by Dr .Sunil Kumar Choudhary.

A Workshop on Industry Readiness Training

Department of Mechanical Engineering, BIT Sindri organised Industry Readiness Training Workshop. The aim of this program was to prepare the students for entry to mid-level jobs in the local, diverse and most advanced areas of Mechanical Engineering. The Industry Readiness Training Workshop was specifically designed to bridge the skill gap and make the graduates ready for Industry.

The workshop comprised of: proposition of manoeuvring solar energy and tidal resource by Anil sir, Capt. A. Choudhary sir shared his experience in his tenure as an army officer, Gap between academic curriculum and industrial requirements highlighting current and upcoming problems and focusing on ideas responding to fill the void by Mr. Prem Kumar Singh sir and the basics and brief about the Industries and Problems by Er. Raman Srivastava Sir.
